While counselling services with a PACFA-registered Clinical member are not eligible for Medicare rebates, the following options may help you access affordable counselling:

  1. Private Health Insurance Rebates

    • Many private health funds offer rebates for counselling services.

    • Check with your insurer if they recognize PACFA Clinical counsellors.

  2. NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)

    • If you are an NDIS participant (self-managed or plan-managed), counselling may be funded under your plan.

  3. Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)

    • Some workplaces provide free or subsidized counselling services through EAPs.

    • Ask your employer if external counselling with a PACFA-registered provider is covered.

  4. Sliding Scale Fees

    • For clients experiencing financial hardship, reduced fees may be available.

    • Let’s discuss a fee arrangement that works for your circumstances.

  5. Community and Charitable Resources

    • Referrals to low-cost or free services are available if needed.

4. Accessibility and Affordability

I am committed to making counselling as accessible as possible. If you have concerns about affordability, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We can explore funding options, flexible payment plans, or alternative resources to ensure you get the support you need.
