How I Work
My work is rooted in the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model, integrating mindfulness, self-inquiry, psycho-education, positive psychology, and somatic psychotherapy. Through these frameworks, I foster positive change by nurturing mindfulness and self-compassion.
With over two decades of experience in mindfulness and personal development, I bring a unique blend of academic training and holistic, experiential practice. My background in holistic human development has been shaped through both scholarly and spiritual avenues, creating a comprehensive, grounded approach to growth and healing.
In my practice, I support individuals, couples, and families across areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, existential crises, masculine/feminine dynamics, anger management, trust, commitment, and confidence. My credentials include a Certificate in Holistic Human Development (Coaching), a Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Mindfulness. I am registered with PACFA, the peak professional body for counsellors in Australia, with Clinical Registration Number 26952.
Over the past decade in the Byron Shire, I have facilitated community meditations, men’s retreats, men’s circles, training and workshops on men’s work, embodiment, couples work, and mindfulness. Working with individuals, couples, and various local organisations across the Northern Rivers has been a deep privilege and inspiration.
I look forward to meeting and working with you. For a closer look at my approach and philosophy, visit my blog, which features videos, audio content, and articles exploring the various aspects of embodying meaningful success.
May all beings be happy.
